Debate on reps to be held at House of Lords
The event will be hosted by The Lord Trees of The Ross.
Vets asked to share their opinions.

The Veterinary Marketing Association is asking veterinary surgeons for their thoughts on the future of veterinary pharmaceutical reps in preparation for a debate to be held at the House of Lords on 21 June 2023.

The event, which will be hosted by Professor The Lord Trees of The Ross, will discuss the question: Will reps still be needed in five years or will they continue to be the VIPs they are in practices today?

To help guide the debate, the organisers are asking first-opinion veterinary surgeons to take part in a survey to share their opinions on the topic.

Three guest speakers will also be sharing their insights during the debate:
  • Rita Dingwall – Federation of Independent Veterinary Practices
  • Paul Horwood – IVC Evidensia
  • Donal Murphy – National Office of Animal Health
Places at the event can be booked online.
